Firefly Photography Workshops are taught by a group of knowledgeable and enthusiastic professional photographers in London. The workshops are run by photographers for photographers who are committed to furthering photographic skills and experience. The people who enjoy our education are similarly committed to improving their abilities. We create and run photography workshops that cover a range of topics that aim to improve your skills as a photographer.
The workshops are taught by photographers Charley Murrell and Rajan Zaveri.
Charley Murrell is a commercial photographer specialising in studio, product and portraiture photography. Charley’s work has won the Royal Photographic Society International Print Competition in 2010 and received Bronze in 2011, been shortlisted for the Guardian Student Media Awards and the Magnum IdeasTap Photography Competition. Her work has been exhibited in various locations including the Foto8 Summer Show 2010, the 27 exhibition at Candid Arts, 2010 in London and in a collective exhibition at Jacobs Market in Cardiff, 2009.
Rajan Zaveri is a documentary photographer that has covered issues both locally in the U.K and internationally; with recent projects in London, Croatia, Bosnia and Egypt. His work recently won him Guardian Photographer of the Year 2011 and shortlisted him for Magnum’s Ideas Tap Photography Competition 2011. Rajan has been exhibited in various locations such the Foto8 Summershow 2010 and Candid Arts in London and a collective exhibition in Third Floor Gallery and Jacobs Market in Cardiff.
